We were at Zoomarine in Rome Saturday, May 2, 2015.
We were three families with 1 boy and a girl of 6 years, 1 boy and a girl of 4 years and a half and 1 boy 2 and a half years .
The park is in Pomezia , in the province of Rome . Get used to the car and you risk finding a lot of traffic to get there from Rome . You can put even one hour or more . Games on time . Get to Zoo Marine is fairly easy , thanks to the signal board.
We parked on asphalt , quite close to the entrance . The parking charge . If there ' a lot of people parking pay parking , it widens in the fields of land not far away.
At the entrance we found big row : in each case the number of cases seems to suit a lot of people also manage.
Children under one meter get in free . The entire adult costs 28 € and reduced ( children under 10 and over 65 ) € 21 . With a few euro more you can take the business two days : Full € 35 , reduced to 28 € . Shopping on site saves something . There is also the season ticket 150 € to availability , given the cost , we do not believe will ever reach.
Along with the ticket provides a map which also contains the information on show times that are definitely the highlight of this park ; for where, once inside , especially if your visit is limited to a single day , well organized your time to avoid missing a show.
Show times are very accurate , so do not be late . If you can , you arrive a few minutes before , so take place in the best areas . Beware, if you do not want to shower with the sketches , not to put too close to the tanks.
The shows are all very beautiful , even for large : you can not miss the dolphins.
In addition to the dolphins , do not miss : pinnipeds , parrots , birds of prey and the spectacle of Diving with Peter Pan !!
We were lucky and we have also witnessed the baptism of a dolphin . Godfather of Aeneas , for the pleasure of the mothers , the swimming Italian champion Filippo Magnini.
Besides the shows , there is also the opportunity to take a guided tour in the Age of Dinosaurs where you can see the life-size reconstructions of dinosaurs mechanized , a beach , a 4D cinema and gaming mechanics and water for large and children.
We stayed only one day , from early morning until they threw us out , being able to see all the shows , dinosaurs and make a couple of turns on some backlash . We stopped only to eat , because during the " lunch break " there are no performances scheduled.
To watch all the shows and make at least one turn on each attraction , a day is not enough ; if you have just one day because the attractions are similar to those you can find in other parks , it should definitely give priority to the shows .
Food leaves much to be desired : there are many Bar / refreshment points , but only one restaurant that closes at 15 , a self that seems to have plenty of seating ( one hundred tables ) but not enough even on days of lower occupancy . The queue to use walking fast enough . Highchairs few .. only ten . The children's menu ( with the gadget ) is abundant : pasta with tomato sauce , schnitzel and chips with portions that are good for large . The quality of meals in our feeling is not the best . We wanted to advise you to bring food from home , but on the site we noticed that and ' absolutely forbidden to bring food and drinks in the park !
Even the toilets are not very familyfriendly .. the bathrooms are very well located within the park , but very few have the changing table and the presence of the baby is not indicated nor with signs inside the park , or on the map provided to ' entrance. When present , are the changing table is in the ladies room . Bathrooms do not have the tablets , even in the bathrooms for women and there are no mini - toilet in the bathroom !! Even the sinks are all adults only .
The evaluation of the Park overall is good , the good shows , restaurant and toilets a must improve.
